Community Events and Opportunities

Lieutenant Governor Visionaries Prizes: People aged 18 and over are asked to identify a policy challenge and solution for Ontario over the next half century. Winners will each receive a $2,500 award to help bring their vision for Ontario to life. In addition to the awards, the winning entries will be featured in The Walrus magazine and honoured by the Lieutenant Governor. Entrants are asked to submit a two-minute video or an 800-word essay to thewalrus.ca/LGvisionariesprize by Monday, March 6, at 5:00 p.m. EST.

The City will be running several information sessions on the proposed by-law to have ranked ballots for the next municipal election, on the following dates/in the following locations:

  • Wed, March 8, 2017 ~ 6:00pm-8:00pm [Presentation at 6:30pm] North London Optimist Community Centre, 1345 Cheapside Street
  • Wed, March 8, 2017 ~ 6:00pm-8:00pm [Presentation at 6:30pm] Medway Community Centre, 119 Sherwood Forest Square
